"Greener Grass"

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. So our son's heifer thinks.

This morning I first noticed she had gotten through the electrice fence to the back of our property. When I got out of the shower, she had decided to try the neighboring lot's "greener grass." What could I do alone to get her back through the fence and home?

I took the treat bucket out and tried to entice her back to her side of the fence. No way, she was having a good time running around, kicking up her heels, rolling in the dirt pile, and chowing down on fresh green grass. Leaving the bucket on our side, I went in search of hammer and fencing staples.

She was still enjoying the "greener grass" when our other son came home and I helped him get her back through the fence. He also put up an additional electrice fence to help encourage her to enjoy her own grass.

Isn't that just like us, not content with what God has supplied?
