Freebie: A Mother's Guide to Herbal Extracts

Last week was my Azure Standard order week. I took a minute to see what was in their "Book" category before pushing the submit button. There are often some free brochures on topics like GMO's. 

This time it listed a book, A Mother's Guide to Herbal Extracts, by Kathy Garber. The sub-title is Saving Tristan. I selected it figuring it was a small booklet. 

Well was I surprised! The print copy has 123 pages. Kathy started researching herbal remedies to help Tristan, her small son, over 12 years ago. Her book is very straight-forward. Giving insights into herb usage for many common family medical issues. 

Her research and results resulted in the formation of Mountain Meadow Herbs. A company based in Montana that offers many of her herbal extract formulations. 

The Garber family as gone on to form The William and Lydia Foundation to help fight world-wide malaria. Donations and sale of the book are helping this endeavor.
