Piles of White Stuff–Visions of Green

After a very dry 2006-2007 winter my garden struggled to produce during a hot and dry 2007 summer. This winter we have piles of that glorious white stuff called snow. Which means moisture this summer. In fact, the snow has entirely covered one of my baby apple trees and almost all of the raspberries enticing me to peruse gardening catalogs and giving me visions of a productive garden this summer.

Let’s see will it be too bold to try planting sweet corn? They are forecasting more snow. I think I better get serious about getting my garden orders ready before the coupons and discounts expire!
