Sunday has worked well for us to invite someone over for dinner or supper. I have Saturday to get the house clean and the food ready. Most people don’t have commitments and because it is in the afternoon, they won’t be staying out late to visit. Weekday nights do not often work for us because my hubby has a 1-hour commute each way. Making late nights hard.
Supper works well for those with small children who might need a nap right after morning church. We will invite them to come about 4 pm and visit before eating a light meal with a dessert.
