Summer Dreams

Warmer temps have arrived and we are no longer dreaming about summer. Since last Friday we have had clear, sunny skies. Yesterday I was able to get the corn, zucchini, and green beans planted. Also, additional plantings of spinach, lettuce, and greens. Just have the tomatoes left to plant and the majority of garden planting will be done.

Over the week-end Mr. Wonderful and I were able to get a 60' x 30' section of the backyard planted with grass seed. Now I must keep it moist to help it sprout.

On Saturday, our sons helped hubby put up a third of the ceiling in his storage building. While they were busy putting up the ceiling, I had the fun of watching our granddaughter. We were sent to the lumber yard and hardware store for needed supplies. We stopped next door at the grocery store to get some ice cream. At 18 months the bag was a bit too heavy, but she hung on to the ice cream and let everyone know she had "Yum, yum."
