Sewing Class-Finale

The finale of our Sewing Class projects involved using fusible interfacing and making a buttonhole. A rummage through my fancy fabrics stash resulted in enough satin scraps for each girl to make an elegant little clutch.

Below L made a minky baby blanket for a new cousin and pieced a quilt for herself. Her grandma quilted it for her.

 

What is really exciting to me is three of the six girls made beautiful modest skirts to wear for Easter.
