Well, yesterday, Ornery, son #4’s heifer had her calf-a little bull. And Isn’t he a cutie. Named Oreo because he is black and white. Momma Ornery is taking good care of him.

Bachelors, Pregnant Mommas, and Babies
Our two unmarried sons are each expecting a baby-calf from their heifers-this spring. They have been getting up at least twice a night to check on the pregnant mommas. Mr. Wonderful, who has only been to farms as a visitor, has been full of questions and more nervous than when I was pregnant!
