Is it selfish or wrong “to want good people around us–so it easy to be good”? So they can be an example to us.
God sends those who will cause the worst to come out in me to teach me self-control and self-denial. As He reminded Peter by the seaside, I have enough to do to learn obedience, self-control, and love to Christ. My focus needs to be on my duty and response not someone else or someone else’s duty and response.
