An Evening Out-a "cheap" date

Friday night, Mr. Wonderful and I had one of our "cheap" dates.

He had received free tickets for the Grand Teton Music Festival. I picked up dinner to go from Bubba's and we ate at Mr. Wonderful's work before heading to the Music Hall. Mr. Steven Sloane was guest conductor and Mr. James Ehnes was the feature violin virtuoso. The program was Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture, Barber's Violin Concerto, Op. 14, and Schumann's Symphony No. 1 in B-flat major, Op. 38. Mr. Ehnes was fabulous. He encorded with one of Bach's Preludes.

After the concert, we stopped at Albertson's for Hagen Daz's Dulce de Leche ice cream. We ate alittle on the hour drive home. Total spent for the evening–$20, if you don't count gas.
