Busy, Busy, Busy

Last week was busy in the garden! I worked at getting all the potatoes hilled and weeded, thinning and weeding the corn, and have been picking spinach, broccoli, lettuce, and radishes. But the biggest harvest last week was strawberries. We are getting about a pint of strawberries each day, providing I pick them before Jonathan gets out there to snack on them. Our granddaughter KD loves them. She tries to eat the stem too!

Jonathan, KD, and I rode on our church's float in the Fourth of July parade. It was hot but fun throwing candy, toys, pencils, and tracts to the people along the route.

Mr. Wonderful and I went up to Family Camp at Red Cliff Bible Camp on Friday, the fourth. The last speaker that night encouraged us to pursue simplicity in our lives to have intimacy with God. We were challenged to examine all the things we are doing in our life and to choose to do what is essential and not let the good things take over.
