Last of the Garden

It was time, probably past time to get the last of the garden in.

The broccoli had being yielding about a cup a week, the parsley both curly and Italian was still growing, and the radicchio was bulking up--until yesterday. That is when the cold finally hit us. We were enjoying a warm, mild fall, until yesterday. (Well, it was frustrating the hunters, as the animals were staying high because there was plenty of grass and water on top of the mountains.)

Today I went out to see if there was anything left to pick. The broccoli was frozen and so was the parsley and radicchio. But the cabbage was fine. They are not huge heads but they should keep awhile or they will be a blessing to someone else. And I found a few Calendula seeds to store for next year.
