Gardening Inside the Snow

There is still snow in the garden.

And with having such a short growing season, we need all the head-start we can get.

So inside the house, which has snow all around:

There are baby onion plants.

Seed Potatoes chitting (setting out in some light, getting sprouts)–Yukon Gold, Russet, Red Norland

Then there is the Oregano plant I brought in from the garden last Fall. We have been using from it all Winter and now it has company–baby lettuce plants

And of the seeds I planted in some little containers, the three broccoli are up!
