Biased Apron

This is what my old apron looks like.

Not too bad actually considering it is over ten years old and has been worn through many a canning season.

Patterns were only ninety-nine cents at JoAnn's, who could pass that up? Evidently not very many! The first two apron patterns I wanted were out-of-stock. So, I settled on this retro Diner pattern and bought some fabric on sale.

Little did I know that all those seams were to be encased in double-fold bias tape! For the record I did follow the instructions exactly! Here is the end result. Very cute and I now have a nice apron to wear when company is over.

(Honestly, I think I will sew all those seams differently next time!)
