Sewing Class has been fun for me and I hope it has been fun for the girls. We only have about another four weeks of classes left. At the beginning of this month the girls made little fleece pull-overs to learn how to sew knits. Were they a challenge. Getting neckbands and cuffs on size 2T and size 3T! The girls worked in teams of two and then gave them away. I think they liked the giving away part better than sewing on the neckband and cuffs.
We also celebrated one of the girl's birthday. Class happened to be on her birthday. I had picked up this Topsy-turvy cake pan at a garage sale for $.50. It was fun to decorate and sooooo simple!
The girls are also taking turns on the serger making napkins and/or tablecloths. This week we are doing some projects for residents at the local Care Center.
