Today's Experiment

We are having chili for supper tonight and instead of having it with cornbread, I decided to do something different. I made my usual french bread recipe with all whole-wheat flour, using red and gold grain, a half tablespoon less of yeast and added a cup of sourdough starter. I formed half the bread into two normal long loaves and the other half into 4 round loaves I plan to hollow and use as bowls.

The round loaves are in the oven and smell great!
